Since the late 1940’s Japanese mangas and anime have become one of the most popular worldwide art forms. Born out of imitations of American style comics and cartoons, they have developed a style that is uniquely Japanese in look and storyline. This becomes obvious when these stories are translated from standard forms into ‘hentai’. Japanese hentai are any publications that have sex or explicit sexual depictions as a major part of the storyline.
